We’ve had sheep on my parents farm for over 20 years, and this was a first for me today. We had a ewe with a water bag out early this morning, and by afternoon she hadn’t had any lambs. We went to assist and pull the lamb, and she wasn’t dilated at all, so we had to call the vet for a c-section. Austyn couldn’t get close enough to the action- she was soooo interested. Alivia on the other hand couldn’t hang 🫠… she ended up in tears and in the house with Grandma. Having livestock is far from easy
