A newborn has been legally surrendered for the first time in the state of Texas! | Safe Haven Baby Boxes

This educational video was created to show the steps of a surrender. A parent will walk up to the box and open the door, triggering the first alarm, and place their infant inside triggering the second alarm. When the door opens the orange bag with helpful information should fall out for them to take with them. They will then close the door and walk away. Meanwhile, the alarms inside will be alerting the staff and dispatch that there's a baby in the box. They will then grab the bassinet evaluate
