An ABC-affiliate television station in Sacramento was struck by gunfire Friday afternoon in what police are classifying as a drive-by shooting. Earlier this week, an SPD K9 Officer spotted a stolen SacRT Flex vehicle in the area of El Camino Avenue and Howe Avenue. When the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, the suspect fled, leading officers on a short pursuit. The pursuit ended near Auburn Boulevard and Fulton Avenue after the suspect collided with other vehicles. The suspect then tried to run, but officers quickly gave chase and took him into custody.
