A New South Wales woman hoping to sue the Catholic Diocese of Lismore for negligence in a sexual abuse claim has won her High Court bid to overturn a permanent stay on the case. The woman, known as GLJ, says she was abused by Father Clarence Anderson in her family home in 1968, when she was 14. She alleges the church knew of Anderson's abuse of other children at the time, and is vicariously liable.
