🏀On March 24, 1981 New York Knicks great Dave DeBusschere’s number 22 was retired in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden. DeBusschere played for the Knicks from 1968 to 1974 after spending 1962 through 1968 with the Detroit Pistons.
