My mom s Arachuvita Sambar is my go to Sambar recipe. My mom uses some gasagasa along with the rest of the spices but since I don't get them here in sg, I have skipped it.Here is what you need -For the Sambar Masala🌿 2 tsp sesame oil 🌿 1.5 tbsp coriander seeds 🌿 1 tbsp Chana dal🌿 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 🌿 10 whole black pepper corns 🌿 8 dry red chilies or adjust as per your spice level 🌿 1/8th tsp asafetida 🌿 12 curry leaves🌿 5 Shallots peeled 🌿 2 tbsp desiccated coconut For the Sambar 🌿
