What is Acro Dance? I have so many messages/ emails asking me what acro dance is with people always mistaking it for gymnastics .......... the two are very very different! Acro is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, it’s unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics. Classical technique is so important for acro which is why we encourage all dancers to take ballet classes as well a
