Mar 29, 2009 · I deleted PowerDVD 8 Ultra and re-installed using the original download file, and did NOT install any "upgrade" patches. Guess what - all blu-ray discs play just fine now.

Newegg does not take refunds on opened software and Cyberlink will not give me the correct address to download the "Ultra" file. I downloaded the trial version of PD 11 Ultra and it downloaded and runs fine.
