The winter storm this past weekend brought plenty of extreme conditions to the Kansas City metro, sending hundreds of people to the hospital.

Essential items like milk, eggs and bread were hard to find before and during the storm. Stores are finally able to restock after the storm rush.

Americans are under winter weather alerts as a major storm threatens much of the U.S. City Manager Brian Platt said, “This is going to be one of the most historic, significant storms Kansas City has ever seen.
