Belfast leisure workers are set to stage a 24-hour strike over pay. In a joint statement, the trade unions Unite and Nipsa said Belfast leisure workers are the lowest paid in Northern Ireland.

The meeting comes on a day when at least 42 Palestinians were killed in airstrikes and shootings across southern Gaza, according to local hospitals.
