Five weeks after their French Open classic, Sinner outplayed Alcaraz from the baseline to win his first Wimbledon title.

The No. 1 seed defeated Carlos Alcaraz, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in the 2025 Wimbledon men's singles final on Sunday to win the prestigious event. He prevented Alcaraz from making history and joining Björn Borg, Pete Sampras, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic as the only men in the Open Era to win Wimbledon three straight years.
