There is no sign the conflict is ending soon and many in the region fear a wider war as they watch waves of attacks.

The Israeli military said it hit an Iranian refueling aircraft at Mashhad airport in eastern Iran. It said it was the longest-range strike it has conducted since the beginning of the operation at 2,300 kilometers from Israel.

Israel has launched a series of strikes against Iran, targeting the country’s nuclear program and other military infrastructure. Iran has launched its own strikes in retaliation.
