Hundreds of protesters marched through downtown Milwaukee to decry the Trump administration's immigration crackdown.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass issued a curfew for parts of downtown as anti-ICE demonstrations continued for a fifth consecutive day, some of which have turned violent between protesters and law enforcement.

Demonstrators are gathering in New York City’s Foley Square in lower Manhattan Tuesday evening protesting recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids around the country. The NYPD is closely monitoring the situation telling News 4 they’re well prepared and well equipped to keep the situation peaceful.

Parts of the 101 Freeway, Alameda, Los Angeles St., Spring St., Main St., Aliso St., Commercial St., Temple Ave., 1st St and Arcadia St. are currently blocked off to drivers, the LAPD said.

A vehicle was seen speeding through the crowd and several protesters were detained during the Tuesday demonstration that drew thousands to downtown Chicago voicing opposition to the Trump administration's stepped-up use of force against immigrants.

People gathered in downtown Des Moines to show support for immigrants' rights as protesters more than 1,600 miles away in LA continue to rally against ICE.

President Donald Trump warned that the use of the military in response to protests against his illegal immigration crackdown won't be limited to just Los Angeles.

A group of protesters briefly clashed with police officers blocking access to Jackson Boulevard from State Street around 5:30 p.m. Officers and protesters were pushed around, but no one was detained. After the brief clash, protesters turned around and continued marching.

The group rallied near a building that houses an immigration court, which has become a flashpoint amid the arrest of migrants in courthouses.
