Fortifying their bullpen for the stretch run, the New York Yankees acquired All-Star relievers David Bednar and Camilo Doval in separate deals as they made a flurry of moves Thursday just ahead of baseball’s trade deadline.

The New York Yankees added a lot of relief pitching during the MLB trade deadline, and Camilo Doval and David Bednar are excited to get going.

To beef up their bullpen, the Yankees acquired Giants reliever Camilo Doval just shortly before the 6 p.m. deadline. To complete the trade, the Yankees sent San Francisco four minor league prospects: catcher Jesús Rodríguez, right-handed pitcher Trystan Vrieling, infielder Parks Harber and lefty Carlos de la Rosa.
