The Texas Department of Transportation announced that the I-27 entrance ramp between Amarillo and Canyon is set to be closed Friday morning for crew operations.

To accommodate detoured traffic, a temporary transition has been constructed on the west side of the Veterans Memorial Bridge for westbound vehicles.

This portion of the highway was also closed earlier this month, as part of ongoing road work to replace 15 feet of concrete railing.
