Victor Caratini homered, Isaac Paredes drove in a run and the Houston Astros shut out the Philadelphia Phillies for a second straight game in a 2-0 victory.

For a second straight night, Astros pitching shut out the visiting Phillies, this time with five left-handers combining for a 2-0 win. It marked the second time this month Houston has thrown shutouts in back-to-back games.

The Phillies haven’t scored since Sunday. After a 2-0 loss on Wednesday, they are now scoreless in the past 19 innings, the longest drought of the season.
