The 25th Employment Empowerment Expo returns Thursday, June 5, according to the Urban League of Greater Hartford.

Even though it's late May, the weather is unseasonably cold in Connecticut. The temperature doesn't matter to one food truck owner in Hartford, who is still working.

The funding was split between 30 local organizations. Over 6,600 children, teens and people with disabilities will participate in the programs.
