Former Denver Broncos head coach and Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett is returning to the Packers staff as a defensive analyst, head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters on Thursday.

LaFleur has hired former offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett back to his staff, but to the opposite side of the football as a defensive assistant. Hackett was LaFleur's first offensive coordinator in Green Bay in 2019, working under the play-calling head coach for three seasons from 2019 to 2021.

There’s a familiar face back on the sidelines alongside head coach Matt LafLeur, as the Packers open training camp. According to a report from Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, the Packers have brought back Nathaniel Hackett in an advisory role for LaFleur and the offense.
