Jayson Tatum is owning up to his struggles through the first two games of the Eastern Conference semifinals as the Boston Celtics face an 0-2 hole against the New York Knicks. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Tatum stated he has to "be better" and expects "to be a lot better" for Game 3 in Madison Square Garden.

Tatum has struggled through two games of the Eastern Conference semifinals, and the Celtics are down 0-2 as a result.

The Celtics led by as many as 20 points in the third quarter in both of those games, but squandered that advantage by falling apart in the fourth. The games basically ended thanks to spectacular plays on defense from Mikal Bridges, too, as he ripped the ball from Jaylen Brown in Game 1 and stole it from Jayson Tatum in Game 2.
