A low-pressure system is moving across the country, delivering rain, snow, and ice to much of the southeast. This same system will be making its way along the east coast early this weekend, bringing a chance for accumulating snow to the tri-state.

A winter storm will affect New York and the surrounding area starting Sunday. From 1 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday, the tri-state area is expected to be hit with snow, according to the National Weather Service.

Roughly two dozen restrictions are scheduled for highways and interstates throughout central Pennsylvania starting Sunday morning.
