The Cincinnati Bengals and star defensive end Trey Hendrickson continue to talk about a contract extension as training camp looms. While nothing is done yet, it appears new offers at least keep getting sent. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport on Monday, the Bengals have sent at least one fresh offer to Hendrickson over the past few days.

Hendrickson has criticized the Bengals’ lack of communication, expressed unwillingness to play under his current deal and skipped voluntary workouts. His decision to miss mandatory minicamp in June resulted in fines totaling more than $100,000. But as badly as Hendrickson wants his new contract, Brown would like to retain the superstar.
