Kristin Davis might have played the picture-perfect Charlotte York in the series “Sex and the City,” but behind the polished image, there was a moment that still makes her shudder. In a memorable scene, Davis’ character, Charlotte York, suffered from food poisoning after eating a sampling of rich French cheeses with her husband, Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler), during a romantic night out. The two barely made it to the bathroom in their Park Avenue apartment as the stomach pains began.

On a recent episode, Davis shared the storyline from SATC —which ran from 1998 to 2004—that she “hated” so much she pleaded not to do it. At one point, Davis and co-star Evan Handler (who plays Charlotte’s second husband Harry Goldenblatt on the show) end up on the bathroom floor after what was supposed to be a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner.
