Brandon Glick of PFSN has named Los Angeles as one of the “best fits” for Red Sox relief pitcher and closer Aroldis Chapman. Chapman has been pitching at an extremely high level so far this season. He would be a big-time get for the Dodgers to improve their bullpen even more.

As the Major League Baseball trade deadline approaches, the action is picking up. On Sunday Night Baseball, the New York Mets completed a sweep of the San Francisco Giants with a 5-3 victory.
Once the dust settles from the trade deadline later this week, the Yankees will have another key pitching decision to make. Right-hander Luis Gil is scheduled to make what will probably be his final rehab assignment start on Tuesday with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
