The scuffling Philadelphia Phillies suffered a blow when they placed first baseman Bryce Harper on the 10-day injured list because of right wrist inflammation before their game against the Pirates

Phillies 1B Bryce Harper, who was not playing Friday due to wrist inflammation, is now on the 10-day injured list.

The Phillies called up Otto Kemp from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to replace Harper. Kemp, 25, is making his major league debut on June 7 against the Pirates. The non-drafted free agent had been one of the International League's top hitters this season, with 14 home runs, 55 RBIs, 11 stolen bases and a .313 batting average.
