Four U.S. citizens were arrested and held for "nearly 24 hours" without any federal charges following a joint ICE crackdown in New York City on Tuesday.

An ICE operation in New York City resulted in the arrests of nine migrants from West Africa who were in the U.S. illegally, Homeland Security said.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force said in a news release that 10 people had been arrested in a multiagency operation.

A man has been arrested after a 37-year-old woman died and a man suffered severe injuries following a crash involving two cars. The crash involving two BMWs, one white and one grey, happened near Askerswell between Dorchester and Bridport at about 00:05 BST.

A 28-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the 2022 fatal shooting of an Uber driver. Justin Ortega-Mejia is accused of second-degree murder in the death of 39-year-old Shaani Mohamed. A Multnomah County grand jury indicted Mejia on Oct. 10, records show.

"The individual was immediately arrested by U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division officers," the service said in a statement late Tuesday.

A Gazan man accused of being involved in the October 7 attacks on southern Israel two years ago has been arrested in Louisiana, according to justice officials.

Investigators soon traced the operation to a supplier living in SeaTac, a convicted felon with a long history of drug and other criminal offenses.
