Cold-stunned iguanas falling from trees during Florida's extreme freeze can now be collected permit-free and brought to wildlife offices for removal.
As South Florida prepares to see some of the coldest weather since 2010, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is allowing for the removal and transport of cold-stunned iguanas without a permit.
The special order issued by the FWC allowed Florida residents to remove the invasive iguanas from their property without a permit.
