President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump are set to host trick-or-treaters at the White House around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The event will go from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and feature the president and first lady handing out candy to trick-or-treaters.

The Trump administration said today that it would send partial payments this month to the roughly 42 million Americans who receive food stamps.

At the heart of the fight is allocating money to help Americans cover health insurance under the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare.
