Daylight saving time ends across most of the United States on the first Sunday of November, according to Time and Date, an online world clock. At 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, clocks in Florida and other states will move back by one hour, give you an extra hour of sleep that night.
The average person takes a couple days to get adjusted to a new schedule following the move to standard time, but some people may take longer to catch up, according to a medical expert.
But just because we change our clocks doesn’t mean the move is popular. A new poll from AP-NORC showed 47% of people are opposed to the current system of daylight saving time, with only 12% in favor. Forty percent are neutral.
Clocks are set to "fall back" this weekend across the United States. Some states have legislation, ready and waiting, to ban the time change.
