As head coach Steve Sarkisian said on Monday, this game will be a challenge for the Longhorns and they will need to be in their best shape in all three phases of the game.

The SEC announced that Texas-Georgia will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC, meaning the highly-anticipated matchup will take place under the lights at night from Sanford Stadium.

Georgia met Texas twice in 2024 with the Bulldogs winning both times. Georgia's defense bullied Texas en route to 30-15 win in Austin last October. The Bulldogs won the 2024 SEC championship 22-19 on an overtime rushing touchdown from running back Trevor Etienne.
