Macklin Celebrini, Sharks hand Kraken first regulation home loss
Macklin Celebrini logged a goal and two assists as the San Jose Sharks defeated Seattle 6-1 Wednesday night, handing the Kraken their first regulation loss at home this season.
Ethan Cardwell and Ty Delladrea also scored for the Sharks. Dellandrea’s goal – his first of the season – came shorthanded at the 3:24 mark of the third period, giving San Jose a 5-1 lead. Toffoli’s goal, his fifth of the season, came just 30 seconds later as the Sharks earned their most lopsided win of the season.

Kraken keen to defend home-ice advantage against Sharks
In the past, the Seattle Kraken almost faced a home-ice disadvantage. In their first four seasons after joining the NHL as an expansion franchise in 2021-22, the Kraken posted a 71-75-18 record at Climate Pledge Arena.
