Victorian learner drivers can now sit the test from home, and will be required to respond to 25 driving scenarios within 45 minutes, which assesses their skills to progress to driving unsupervised.

New VicRoads figures show that men are passing their driving test at a higher rate than women in Victoria. More than 70 per cent of men pass their test, compared to 65.8 per cent of women.

Victorian learner drivers would need to complete a minimum of 120 hours of driving practise up to the age of 25 under proposed reforms to improve road safety.
