Apple on Tuesday announced new MacBook Air models with the company's M5 processor, catching it up with the iPad Pro and 14-inch MacBook Pro that received an M5 bump last year.

Apple ’s spring hardware refresh is under way, led by two mainstream releases so far: the iPhone 17e and an updated iPad Air built around the M4 chip borrowed from Apple’s higher-end machines.
