Boston firefighter remembered as 'a real hero' as investigation into death continues
A Boston firefighter is being remembered on Memorial Day after his death in the line of duty over the weekend. Robert Kilduff Jr., who served 24 years with the Boston Fire Department, died after falling from the third story of a burning home in Dorchester Saturday night.

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has pledged to donate $150,000 to enable the city of Boston to continue screening firefighters for early signs of cancer, a program threatened because of federal cuts. The donation will enable 500 firefighters,
