WASHINGTON (AP) — Eight years after President Donald Trump was dazzled by a grand military parade down the Champs-Élysées in Paris, he is finally getting a chance to try to top the spectacle.

A Craigslist advertisement seeking paid "seat fillers" to attend US President Donald Trump's grand military parade in Washington is spreading rapidly online ahead of the June 14, 2025 event. But there is no evidence the listing is aut hentically connected to the Army Birthday Parade;

The White House attempted to clarify Donald Trump's call for the use of force on "any" protesters who show up at the parade celebrating the Army's 250th anniversary.

The parade, which is expected to draw 200,000 spectators to the streets of Washington, D.C., celebrates the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army but also comes on Trump’s 79th birthday, raising complaints from some that its real purpose is to embellish his strongman image. The Army says the parade will cost up to $45 million.
