The New York Rangers continued a reshape of their roster on Tuesday night, dealing defenseman K'Andre Miller to the Metropolitan Division-rival Hurricanes, and in return, Carolina acquired a 2026 first- and second-round pick for the 25-year-old veteran.

K'Andre Miller is reportedly joining a new squad after spending the first five years of his career with the New York Rangers.

According to insider Elliotte Freidman, the Carolina Hurricanes are pulling off a Mitch Marner style sign and trade move with the New York Rangers for K'Andre Miller. The contract with the Canes for Miller will come in at a cap hit of $60 million over 8 years.
