Everett’s novel was honored at the 2025 awards, along with other books in the categories of fiction, general nonfiction, memoir, poetry, history and biography.

The New York Times is awarded four Pulitzers, the New Yorker three and the Washington Post is cited for its coverage of the Trump assassination attempt.
