Falsehoods surrounding Princess Anne have mistakenly been issued by Buckingham Palace in celebration of the royal’s 75th birthday.

The royal family expanded on Aug. 15, 1950, when the future Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip welcomed their second child, a daughter. The couple were already parents to a 2-year-old son, the future King Charles, and they named their daughter Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise.

Princess Anne debuted a new hairstyle for the first time in five decades in a portrait with her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, which was released in honor of her upcoming 75th birthday.

The tiara made its public debut in 1973, the same year it was given to Anne. She wore the piece for a series of portraits to mark her 23rd birthday, and wore it again in pre-wedding photographs with her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips, whom Anne married that November. (They divorced in 1992.)
