On Saturday, Embiid finished with game highs of 28 points and 12 rebounds in just three quarters of action. George, who also sat out the fourth quarter, added 17 points, six assists, and two steals.

George then took 16 shots in Monday's win over the Spurs and scored 19 points. That is the production the Sixers are looking for from the 9-time All-Star. The focus on the offensive end will remain on Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, so Philadelphia will be looking to George to be more of a connector for this group at times.
