Dolly Parton shared an update on how she was coping after the death of her husband of almost 60 years, Carl Dean. The country music legend admitted that life after Dean's death was a "big adjustment."

Dolly Parton is talking about the highlight of her life. The singer, 79, got candid on losing her husband of 59 years, Carl Dean, in March. “Oh, you know what, I get very emotional when people bring it up,” Parton told “Today” host Savannah Guthrie in an interview on Friday. “But we were together 60 years. I’ve loved him since I was 18 years old.”

Dolly Parton will always love her late husband, Carl Dean. On the May 2 episode of TODAY, Parton recalled what her life has been like since he died in March. When TODAY's Savannah Guthrie asked her how she's been holding up since his death, Parton said she still has a hard time talking about it.
