Dafoe joins his Nosferatu co-stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Lily-Rose Depp in the upcoming film, which is titled Werwulf. Other than the fact that it's set in the medieval era, plot details are still being kept firmly under wraps, including the characters the recently announced cast members will be playing.

In “Nosferatu,” Taylor-Johnson played Friedrich Harding, a wealthy shipbuilder who does not heed Thomas and Ellen Hutter’s warnings that their German town has fallen under the curse of the vampire Count Orlok until it is too late.

Robert Eggers is getting the wheels in motion on his next film Werwulf, as sources have confirmed to Deadline that Aaron-Taylor Johnson is set to star in the Focus Features pic, and Lily Rose-Depp is in talks. Eggers will direct and co-wrote the script with his The Northman co-writer Sjón.
