Defensive lineman Owen Wafle is the latest Michigan player to enter the NCAA transfer portal, a team spokesman confirmed to MLive on Thursday. Wafle, a true freshman, did not appear in any games during the 2024 season. He has four years of college eligibility remaining.

Former Alabama running back Justice Haynes has found his new home since entering the transfer portal, officially signing with the Michigan Wolverines on Friday.

After a breakout season in which he was the program's starting right tackle, Alabama Crimson Tide offensive lineman Elijah Pritchett is set to enter the NCAA transfer portal according to reports Saturday night.

Michigan, along with rival Michigan State, kickstarted the outdoor hockey craze in North America in 2001, when they had that classic battle in East Lansing. Since then, the Wolverines are 4-4-1 in outdoor games. Ohio State is 1-4 in its first five outdoor games.
