Between a slew of trades and extensions and last week’s draft welcoming the next generation of stars to the NBA, franchises across the league are reshaping themselves in preparation for the 2025-26 season.

The 26-year-old Sexton has played seven NBA seasons and three with the Jazz after suiting up four on the Cleveland Cavaliers, who selected him out of Alabama with the eighth overall pick in the 2018 draft. For the season, Sexton posted 18.4 points on 48.0 percent shooting (40.6 percent from three) and 4.2 assists.

The Utah Jazz are trading guard Collin Sexton and a 2030 second-round pick to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for big man Jusuf Nurkić, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. Sexton has spent the last three seasons in Utah and will play for his third NBA team next season.
