Oscar Piastri won his third race in a row on Sunday, taking the Miami Grand Prix over McLaren teammate Lando Norris and the gap to Mercedes’ George Russell in third was more than 35 seconds. Piastri is first McLaren driver to win three on the trot since Mika Häkkinen in 1997 and now leads the world drivers’ championship by 17 points over Norris.

Piastri is up 16 points on Norris, with Norris another 16 up on Verstappen. Fans' best hope for an exciting champ battle down the stretch will likely have to hinge on Norris regaining pace ... or not getting barged off the track by Verstappen.
