Seven people have died when a small medical plane crashed in Northeast Philadelphia shortly after takeoff Friday night, including six occupants on the jet and one person in a vehicle.

Dispatch reports say the plane crashed near the 7200 block of Calvert Street, where there are rowhomes. The reports said there were cars on fire.
