Breaking news: A semitruck caught fire on an I-65 overpass in downtown Louisville. It was dangling off the side, and then fell off to the road below. It fell off near Jefferson Street, and is now on I-64 east and I-71 north.

The Louisville Police Department reported that as of 10:30 a.m. on Friday, crews are on the scene of a semi-truck fire on I-65S/I-64E in Louisville.

A fully-engulfed semitruck fell off an interstate overpass in downtown Louisville onto another interstate below.

The driver of the semi-truck is recovering from minor injuries after jumping 20 feet to safety from the dangling cab.

Louisville Metro Police responded to a reported shooting around 7 p.m. in the 500 block of Marshall Street, department spokesperson Aaron Ellis said.
