Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham emerged as a hero among WNBA fans by standing up for Caitlin Clark in taking down Connecticut Sun star Jacy Sheldon during a game earlier this week after Clark had been repeatedly fouled.

This, after Fever star Caitlin Clark was decked by Sun guard Marina Mabrey in the third quarter, resulting in a flagrant foul and another heated moment. Prior to the following game against the Golden State Valkyries, Cunningham posted a tongue-and-cheek video lip-syncing "Hands to Myself" by Selena Gomez.

Sophie Cunningham isn’t one to keep her mouth shut or her hands to herself, apparently. The Indiana Fever guard found herself in the middle of a heated exchange during Tuesday night’s matchup against the Connecticut Sun.
