Former owner of Goose the lizard facing civil charges
After several officials talked about how Goose had been captured and that its unnamed owner faces civil charges for housing the illegal lizard, Goose finally appeared. It was held tenderly by Mack Ralbovsky, a trained exotic animal handler with Rainforest Reptile Shows in Beverly who said his experience includes chasing alligators in Florida.
Goose, a water monitor lizard, escaped from its residence at 17 Blueberry Hill on July 18, Webster Police Chief Michael Shaw said.
