Meta Platforms said on Monday it had elected three new directors to its board, including Dana White, CEO of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and close friend of President-elect Donald Trump.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that UFC CEO Dana White will "join the board of directors of Meta" in a "surprise move." Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the addition of White and two other board members on Monday.
