Camp Rock originally premiered on Disney Channel in 2008 and followed Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato), an aspiring singer attending a summer music camp, where she crosses paths with a pop star named Shane Gray (Joe Jonas). The sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, followed in 2010.

According to recent rumors, Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers could return for Camp Rock 3, the third entry in the Disney Channel film series after 2008’s Camp Rock and 2010’s Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.

Joe Jonas has appeared to confirm Camp Rock 3. During an appearance on Hot Ones Versus alongside his brothers and bandmates Nick and Kevin Jonas, the Camp Rock star appeared to confirm a third instalment of the Disney Channel franchise.
