Tennessee baseball and Arkansas clash in a super regional with a trip to the College World Series at stake as Tony Vitello returns to Fayetteville.

The NCAA Tournament Fayetteville Super Regional will begin Saturday, hosted by No. 3 national seed Arkansas (46-13). The Razorbacks will face No. 14 national seed Tennessee (46-17) for a best-of-three series at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas will start left-handed pitcher Zach Root against Tennessee on Saturday in Game 1 of the NCAA Fayetteville Super Regional. Dave Van Horn, the Razorbacks’ 23rd-year coach, stopped short of announcing Gage Wood as the Game 2 starter against the Volunteers on Sunday.
